Bio

Jack Zalasky is a right-handed pitcher from Elk Grove, CA. He attended Sacramento State University from 2019 to 2023 and was a stalwart in their bullpen. He holds the school record for strikeouts per 9 innings (11.1) and led the team in ERA in 2021 and 2022. Jack is second on Sac State’s all-time list for saves (26), appearances (95), and saves in a season (11). He also has impressive career numbers in ERA (3.23), strikeouts to walks per nine innings (11.1/2.5), and WHIP (1.156). In 2023, Jack made his professional baseball debut in the MLB Draft League with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, where he logged 16 innings in 12 appearances.

Davis, Ca.- It took almost 24 hours for the Yolo High Wheelers (1-0) to complete their first game in history but it was worth it as they topped the Rocky Mountain Vibes 10-7. The contest started on Tuesday but was suspended after five innings due to lack of lights with the High Wheelers leading 4-3. It resumed on Wednesday night at 5:45 at Dobbins Stadium completing the first professional baseball game in this city.
